Stacking Pace Map
How to read it
Find your monthly buy on the X axis and go straight up. Each band you cross is a longer wait - under a year at the bottom, a decade or more at the top. Or pick a target on the Y axis and read across to find the pace that gets there in the time you want.
The hatched zone is out of reach at any horizon. The model price rises fast enough that the buys stop adding up: every extra year of stacking adds less bitcoin than the year before, and the total converges. That limit is the ceiling, and no amount of patience crosses it - only a bigger buy does.
The lines are straight because doubling your buy doubles your stack: both buyers pay the same price each week, so the time to a target depends only on the ratio of target to monthly buy. The power law is in how far apart the lines sit, not in their shape - they bunch up against the ceiling because the late years add so little.
The model behind it
Forward numbers come from an OLS power-law fit of log10(price) against log10(days since 2009), across all 5,928 days of daily history. The assumed price on day d is 10^(-16.351 + 5.641 · log10(d)), and each weekly buy compounds into the running BTC total.
A curve fitted to the past is not a prediction of the future. Treat these as one scenario, not a forecast. 100,000,000 sats per BTC. Not financial advice.
