How to read it
RSI = 100 − 100 / (1 + avg_gain / avg_loss) over the last 14 periods, using Wilder's smoothing. Above 70 is the conventional overbought zone (red); below 30 is oversold (green).
Daily RSI is noisy - it crosses 70 and 30 many times per cycle. Weekly RSI is the higher-timeframe filter most cycle traders watch: it spends multi-month stretches deeply overbought or oversold and reliably maps to BTC cycle peaks and troughs.
